Project TLNTIK respects your right to privacy. This policy outlines how I handle your information in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.

What I Collect

• Personal Information (Name, Email) for account creation.
• Profile details (Avatar, Bio) you choose to upload.
• Usage data (Reviews posted, Hike logs).

How I Use It

• To authenticate you and secure your account.
• To display your public profile to other hikers.
• To improve website functionality and user experience.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is securely stored using Supabase, an enterprise-grade database provider. I implement strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that private data remains private. I do not sell or trade your personal information to third parties.

Student Project Notice:While I utilize industry-standard tools for database security, Project TLNTK is ultimately a solo student project. By using the platform, you understand that I cannot offer continuous enterprise-level guarantees against data breaches or server downtime. Please only share information you are comfortable providing in this context.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have full control over your data. Under the DPA 2012, you have the right to access, correct, and object to the processing of your personal data.

Requesting Account Deletion

If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data (including reviews and hike logs), please contact me directly or use the "Delete Account" option in your Profile settings (if available).

Note: Legally required records (such as waivers for completed hikes) may be retained for a specific period as mandated by law.
